Darby Foundation, Founded in 1977, restored and maintains Bill Darby's boyhood
home, located at 311 General Darby Street in Fort Smith, Arkansas as a memorial
to him and a tribute to all U.S. Rangers. |

living room is restored to May1, 1945, the day the telegram was delivered notifying
his family that he had been killed in action. Personal memorabilia, official records and letters, and numerous mementos from Carrickfergus, Northern Ireland, Cisterna, Anzio, Nettuno, Torbole, Italy, Fort Smith, Northwest Territories, and Canada are displayed. The second floor of the Darby House homes information on worldwide special operational forces and is a research center for current peacemaking and peacekeeping activities. |   |
